How to correct Bearbeiten

We can discuss and change, but the rules to correct seems :

  • For french text "Anhang" from page 244 in Die_berühmten_Frauen_der_französischen_Revolution_1789–1795
  • keep to the nearest original text
  • correct misspellings from the authors : NO
  • correct a word not existing or abnormal character : YES
  • correct if a character change the meaning of word : YES
  • correct accents (é,è,à,ù) : NO

Discussion about correction Bearbeiten

I am sorry, but I have to write in english, because my french is not very good.

In german wikisource we have a text with a french appendix, about 30 pages, which has to be proofread a second time. Could someone help us? Die berühmten Frauen der französischen Revolution 1789–1795 --jmb1982 (german User-Site) --Jmb1982 (d) 12 novembre 2010 à 11:04 (UTC)

I begin to aswer to your ask about französischen Revolution book --Rical (d) 14 novembre 2010 à 14:55 (UTC)

There are a lot of mistakes, perhaps only one note per page with correct french will be better, if you want to improve the french part. This may be due to the incorrect spelling of an original manuscript in some cases. Maybe you should stay with the original text and put a note "French is consistent with the printed text but contains misspellings". Sapcal22 (d) 17 novembre 2010 à 23:13 (UTC)

I try to help you to correct the french part of Die berühmten Frauen der französischen Revolution 1789–1795
But I ask some questions because I don't know your editorial way.

  • Do you want keep the nearest original text ? Or translate to 2010 french ?
  • The text is a patchwork of high and low level language.
  • Do you want to keep this patchwork to show the personnality of Théroigne ?
  • Do you want to discard this patchwork to show the life of Théroigne without disturbing the readers by low level language ?

Hello Rical,

we have to keep to the original text. Only when there are misspellings or missing words/accents, we can do references --Jmb1982 01:16, 20. Nov. 2010 (CET)Beantworten

Thanks for this guide and your examples, I will use them. --Rical 19:51, 20. Nov. 2010 (CET)Beantworten
Sorry for reverting many of your edits, but where Olimpe is consequentely used, we should not change it into Olympe. --Jmb1982 19:53, 20. Nov. 2010 (CET)Beantworten

After many questions here : Benutzer Diskussion:Zabia‎‎#Adler, Frauen der Revolution?, there Vorlage:Reviewtext#Projekt_der_zweiten_Novemberwoche and there Benutzer_Diskussion:Rical#How_to_correct_?
and because Zabia stoped on this project, and say to return to Jmb1982, we continue to discuss here, in the main page of the book (a place choose by french WS).
My notes :

  • My notes are for the verifier, not for the public reader.
  • Perhaps I could use another type of notes "Prüfer" to keep WS for public notes ?
  • In french WS, a verifier accept notes for the verifier (easy to find, without ambiguity, easy to erase).
  • But another verifier prefer explanations in the discussion page of the book.
  • one note per page with correct french will be better (say french Sapcal22)
  • What do you prefer ? Do you want a report here for each page or for each day ?

Vorlage:BlockSatzEnd error |} Bearbeiten

The Vorlage:BlockSatzEnd content an error, the 2 first characters |} --Rical 12:20, 29. Nov. 2010 (CET) The same page must contain Vorlage:BlockSatzStart and Vorlage:BlockSatzEnd wich equilibrate {| and |} . And now this became automatic for the pages of books. All is OK. --Rical 19:24, 30. Nov. 2010 (CET)Beantworten

  • Like you already see, I corrected today the pages 244 to 250 (keep misspellings and accents). Why the 2 pages 244 and 250, when I modify and preview, display referencies without the tag <references /> ? --Rical 22:16, 28. Nov. 2010 (CET)Beantworten
Rical, I think your corrections are okay (you know, you are the one, who speaks french!), but the tag {{References|TIT|WS|}} is the correct one and it has to be putted into "Fußzeile", just before the tag {{BlockSatzEnd}}. I found a reference-tag twice (wrong-)placed in "Textkörper". One time I missed it. Now, the organisation of the whole text seems okay again. (There is only one word to say: I think you copied text here-in. This is not used in german WS. If necessary, then, next time, please put it in below former text. Greetings, thanks for helping! You can ask me again, if you need. Zabia 23:44, 28. Nov. 2010 (CET)Beantworten
  • Today, I finished to correct the french Anhang pages 244 to 280, with the rules defined here : #How to correct. Elsewhere, I correct also some french words or sentences, but not anywhere, because I can not find all french words in a german book. I could take part in other corrections, but it is not a promise. Ich danke Ihnen für Ihren Empfang und für Ihre Geduld. --Rical 22:23, 4. Dez. 2010 (CET)Beantworten
A reason could be that most words are written in a speciell mixture of languages from a person of the 18th century, who is not really tough in (todays?) french. Thanks very much, Rical. Zabia 11:16, 5. Dez. 2010 (CET)Beantworten
